Sorry for the lack of updates and content. I haven’t had a chance to work on the site. Writers block has a lot to do with it as well. I’m working on that.
Hopefully things will be flowing consistently soon.

I haven’t added a video diary - or text diary for that matter - lately due to personal issues. Little hiatous but the project will be up within the next one to four days with a new video entry.
I’m hoping to take you location scouting but it depends on the weather among other things. If not location scouting hopefully I’ll have something interesting and more importantly, new and different from what I’ve showed you so far.
Also I plan on working on a fun little side treat for you guys. I don’t want to go into too many details but I just can’t help myself. I’m thinking a stop motion animation short - and I do mean short - or something else having to do with The Mighty Chicken. If you don’t know what The Mighty Chicken is, check out The Official TMC website.

I haven’t been able to get too much done but I’ve think I’ve decided on a story and location to do. I’m deciding between a scene from one of my scripts and a kind of “been done before” idea but I think I can do something new with it. If I choose the latter I’ll have to find a new location.
Not sure when the next video entry will be. I’m thinking it might be about Adobe Premiere like I said or I’ll take you on a tour of the set I might use. It’s an on location kind of deal and I have no clue as to if I can get permission to use it or not. If not… I might use it anyway and just try not to get caught. *evil*

Along with video entries, there will be text entries as well.
So I got sick and for other personal reasons have made no progress whatsoever since the last entry. I feel better today - somewhat - but I’m going to hopefully - depends on transportation issues - go out and do something today to get my mind off things and hopefully come across something that inspires me.
The next entry might focus on Adobe Premiere which I stated in the last video entry, or something completely different, depending on if I suddenly get inspired and write something or something else I can’t think of at the moment. Wish I had some sort of treat for you but nope.

For now the only format available of Entry #3 is the YouTube streaming video. I’m still getting used to Adobe Premiere. I used to be a wizard at it, and now I can’t even capture a damn clip. And when I try to import a clip from an outside source - I’ve been capturing the video from my DV tape via a Nero capturing program called Nero Vision. Not a lot of options, let alone streaming video - for some reason it imports it as a 4:3 full screen resolution clip even though it’s widescreen. I have no clue how to fix it, yet. I have to re-learn everything about Adobe Premiere. That’s probably what the next entry is going to be about, as I mention in this entry. So video entry #4 will be up when I get at least the basics down so I can film a little video about my learning it.
It might be a time lapse, or small clips edited together to follow each step in my process, or I film it after I learn everything and do a little re-enactment of myself learning it so it can double as a tutorial for all you people that might be interested in editing video via Adobe Premiere. I’ll it will probably be a combination of short clips of my progress and the tutorial. Yeah I just decided that’s going to be it. I’m going to set up the tripod now to have the camera get an over-the-shoulder view of myself working on Adobe Premiere. If none of this made sense, just wait for video diary entry #4, see for yourself what I mean. I’m not great at explaining things. Luckily I’ll be able to edit and script myself when I do the tutorial.
I’m going to try to work non-stop starting after I finish the post until I get the basics. hopefully it won’t take me forever to get the basics down well enough to know it backwards and forwards and to be able to film an easy to follow tutorial.

For this entry I decided to get in front of the camera and to put it on a tripod and keep it still to keep it more stable because the previous entry was very shaky. Also if you’re wondering about my voice being a little low and quiet, I have a soar thought.I’ve also decided, along with the YouTube streaming version of the entry, to do my own Quicktime streaming enoding on the entry. I have two options, so-so 400×300 resolution quality which is pretty damn small at 63.7 MB compared to the 720×480 resolution version topping at 200 MB. That may seem like a lot be think of it like how long it takes for a trailer to load at the apple/trailers site. Anyways I recommend the higher resolution version if you have the bandwidth.
